Aipix at CAPIF 4 by RIPE NCC: Key Highlights
Setting the Stage at CAPIF 4

The fourth edition of the Central Asia Peering and Interconnection Forum (CAPIF 4), organized by RIPE NCC, opened with strong momentum for our company. Aipix was honored to play an active role from the very beginning – reporting on potential of the peering networks for telecom operators . The forum this year united telecom operators with internet service providers, technology vendors and policy experts to handle essential regional connectivity and infrastructure and innovation matters.
Aipix Contribution to the Opening Session

On the opening day, Anna Yurchenko, Regional Sales Director at Aipix, joined the first panel session. Anna delivered a keynote presentation that set the tone for the discussions to follow. Her talk focused on how long-standing challenges for operators and ISPs can be turned into opportunities for growth and resilience, with a particular emphasis on the transformative role of peering networks for telecom operators.

Building Smart City Infrastructure with Peering Networks for Telecom Operators
The central theme of Anna’s presentation was:
“Building Smart City Infrastructure with Peering Networks for Telecom Operators: from Intelligent Video Surveillance to Advanced Analytics.”
Anna highlighted how peering networks for telecom operators are no longer just about optimizing traffic flows or reducing costs. These networks serve as the fundamental structure for delivering future services. The intelligent city ecosystems of telecom operators rely on these networks. They process large volumes of data from sensors, surveillance cameras, and IoT devices. This ensures high efficiency and strong security.
The method provides dependable network connections. It also supports advanced applications such as real-time analytics, predictive urban planning, and AI-driven public safety solutions.
Strategic Value of Smart Security for Telecom Operators
Together with the Aipix Smart Security Values and Vision, Anna emphasized that operators and ISPs need to adopt new interconnection approaches which go beyond their current network models to remain competitive. Through peering network utilization telecom operators can create new revenue opportunities. Besides it enhancing service quality and driving digital transformation across their entire region.
Industry Collaboration and Networking
CAPIF 4 turned into productive meetings between partners and colleagues who represented Central Asia and additional regions.
The Aipix team used these meetings to share insights about infrastructure development strategies and data exchange systems. These new methods aim to expanding capacity in the fast-evolving digital world.
The discussions demonstrated that peering networks represent a top solution for telecom operators to achieve growth while enhancing their operational stability.
Conclusion: Telco Challenges Turned Into Opportunities
The forum atmosphere demonstrated how operators must work together to achieve success in their telecom ecosystem. The conference showed how operators can transform their common obstacles into specific plans and operational solutions and enduring business alliances. The event showed participants that peering networks for telecom operators will function as key elements to create this future.
We thank the organizers Ripe NCC for their excellent event organization and all participants for their active participation. We all felt sincere willingness to exchange knowledge. The CAPIF 4 Forum demonstrated that this conference serves as more than a traditional gathering because it functions as a space where industry professionals create the future through collaborative innovation.
