Aipix at MWC 2025 Interview From the Event: A Hub of Innovation and Opportunity
Anastassia: Today, we’re diving into one of the biggest tech events of the year—MWC 2025 in Barcelona. We have Sebastián Jiménez, Business Development Director LATAM with us, who had the incredible opportunity to attend, network, and explore cutting-edge technologies. Sebastian, how would you rate your overall experience at MWC?
Sebastian: Representing Aipix at MWC was an amazing experience. On a scale from 1 to 10, I’d give it an 8 or 9. The event itself was a perfect 10—huge, dynamic, and filled with groundbreaking innovations. I walked over 35,000 steps each day just exploring! What stood out the most for me was the chance to meet decision-makers from Latin America, our key target market. Speaking with them in Spanish made the conversations even more productive. Overall, the networking and tech exposure made this an outstanding experience.
The Most Exciting Exhibits at MWC 2025
Anastassia: Aside from networking, did you visit any specific exhibits or sessions that left a lasting impression?
Sebastian: Definitely! From a general tech perspective, the presence of Huawei and Xiaomi was incredible. Their exhibits were enormous, showcasing cutting-edge devices and innovations. But from an industry standpoint, what really caught my attention was the participation of Mexican ISPs expanding their services into the European market. Seeing them compete at such a global level was inspiring and highlighted how rapidly the telecom industry is evolving.
The Value of Face-to-Face Business Interactions
Alexander: With all the advancements in digital communication, do you think face-to-face interaction is still the best way to establish business partnerships?
Sebastian: Without a doubt. While virtual meetings and emails are useful, nothing replaces personal interaction. MWC provided the perfect setting to meet clients and partners face-to-face. Many of them had only known me through email or calls, and finally meeting in person solidified our relationships. Being physically present sends a strong message about commitment and trust, which are crucial in business.
Networking Opportunities and Aipix’s Expansion
Anastassia: How would you describe the networking opportunities at MWC?
Sebastian: They were excellent! Latin American companies came to Europe eager to showcase their capabilities, and I was there with the same energy, introducing Aipix’s solutions. Speaking Spanish created an immediate connection, making conversations smoother and more productive. Events like MWC are vital because they help businesses see the mutual value in partnerships, which can lead to long-term collaborations.
Innovations That Stood Out at MWC 2025
Anastassia: Were there any innovations or discussions that particularly impressed you?
Sebastian: Absolutely! AI and robotics were at the forefront, with AI-driven robots interacting with people almost like humans. Beyond that, I had deep conversations with telecom professionals who’ve been in the industry for over 20 years. While some of the technical discussions were quite advanced, what stood out was how well they understood Aipix’s platform and the immense value we bring to the Latin American market. Security solutions are in high demand there, and our VSaaS offering aligns perfectly with market needs.
The Impact of MWC on Aipix’s Growth
Alexander: Have you noticed any impact on Aipix’s visibility since MWC?
Sebastian: Definitely! Since the event, we’ve seen a rise in leads and social media engagement. People are reaching out more, showing interest in Aipix and what we offer. MWC isn’t just about displaying new tech—it’s about meaningful conversations that transform into business opportunities.
